This is an exciting time to be a consumer in the CBD industry, but with all the noise, it can be challenging to discern which products are genuine, consistent, and deliver on their promise of quality CBD.

Here at Mandara we think it’s important for consumers like yourself to have a way to understand exactly what you’re taking and trust that it’s the same every time. Simply scan the QR code found on all Mandara labels and you’ll be directed to over five pages of third-party lab results offering a comprehensive look at just what’s in the bottle. This is called a Certificate of Analysis, and for savvy shoppers, it offers a world of insight.

“Wow,” you might be thinking, “there’s a lot of information here.” And you would be right! While we encourage our Mandara family to take a deep dive into the information found in a Certificate of Analysis, there are a few key measurements to look for: CBD content and the presence of unwanted microbes, solvents, heavy metals, and pesticides.

The most straightforward of the test results, cannabinoid content, specifies the milligrams of CBD found in a given product. This is helpful to determine the honesty and accuracy of the manufacturer—and confirm they aren’t selling hemp seed oil masquerading as CBD. At Mandara, our products contain a range of both CBD levels and THC, so that you can select the product that is right for you and your lifestyle.

The second point of interest for consumers in a Certificate of Analysis is the presence of what we don’t want, namely: microbial content, solvents, heavy metals, and pesticides. Why the concern? Hemp is a remediation crop, meaning that it acts as a sponge for the soil and air it’s grown in. It requires the most pristine conditions available to produce the cleanest and most beneficial CBD. You’ll see this is a “pass or fail” section of the certificate. At Mandara, all of our products are tested in a certified lab that meets standardized practices for testing consistency and record keeping—and we receive a pass for having non-harmful amounts of these elements in each of our premium products.

The transparency the Certificate of Analysis provides is key to fostering lasting relationships with our Mandara family, and we are proud to be leading the charge in the industry to set a higher standard of integrity and accuracy.
